Upon receiving her MD from the University of Pennsylvania, Alison Pack completed her residency training in Neurology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Following Dr. Pack's residency, she trained as a Clinical Fellow in Epilepsy at the Columbia Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Following her training, she was appointed Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at the College of Physician of Surgeons, Columbia University. In 2001 she received the Epilepsy Foundation Junior Investigator Research Award to study bone health in postmenopausal women with epilepsy receiving antiepileptic drugs. She is also the co-investigator on a number of clinical trials including reproductive function in young women with epilepsy and neurodevelopmental effects of antiepileptic drugs.
