Tracey Perrine is the inpatient nurse practitioner at the Columbia epilepsy monitoring unit. She provides nursing staff with ongoing education related to epilepsy care and she manages the care of people with epilepsy in collaboration with neurologists. Ms. Perrine received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the William Paterson College and went on to complete her Master of Science, specializing in adult clinical nursing. She received an advanced certificate for adult nurse practitioner from Columbia University. Prior to her role as nurse practitioner at the Columbia Epilepsy Center, Ms. Perrine was the instructor for the Office of Organizational Learning in the Department of Nursing Education at New York Presbyterian Hospital. In May of 1998 she received the Nurse Practice Award from the Department of Nursing Education.
