Elise Caccappolo, PhD holds the title of Assistant Clinical Professor of Neuropsychology at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Department of Neurology, Division of Aging and Dementia. She is s a member of the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. She specializes in the evaluation and diagnosis of memory disorders including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and other dementing disorders. Dr. Caccappolo performs neuropsychological evaluations investigating premorbid intellectual functioning, current intellectual functioning, memory, attention, language, visuospatial skills, executive functioning, and personality functioning. She has conducted research in the neuropsychological performance of Alzheimer's disease, the acquisition of language disorders, and cortical basal ganglionic degeneration and is currently involved in a multi-center study to determine risk factors for early onset Parkinson's disease.
