Dr. Pearson is a child neurologist with specialty training in movement disorders. She evaluates and treats children with dystonia, tics, chorea, ataxia, parkinsonism, tremor, myoclonus, hypotonia, involuntary movements, and other movement abnormalities.

In addition to seeing pediatric patients with movement disorders, Dr. Pearson is a member of the Columbia University Motor Performance Laboratory (www.columbiampl.org). Her research is focused on mechanisms of normal motor learning and motor recovery after brain injury in children.
