Dr. Wright received his undergraduate degree from George Washington with a degree in psychology and his M.D. degree from Columbia University in 1997. He completed internal medicine internship at Montefiore Hospital, neurology residency followed by a fellowship in Stroke at the Neurological Institute. He completed a master's degree from the Mailman School of Public Health under a Neuroepidemiology Training Grant. Dr. Wright is a co-investigator in the population-based Northern Manhattan Study and is funded by the National Institutes of Health and the American Heart Association to study the vascular determinants of cognitive impairment and decline.
