Biography
» Recent Publications

Dr. Wright has a full-time appointment as Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Miami and is adjunct faculty at the College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Wright received his undergraduate degree from George Washington with a degree in psychology and his M.D. degree from Columbia University in 1997. He completed internal medicine internship at Montefiore Hospital, neurology residency followed by a fellowship in Stroke at the Neurological Institute. He completed a master's degree from the Mailman School of Public Health under a Neuroepidemiology Training Grant. Dr. Wright is a co-investigator in the population-based Northern Manhattan Study and is funded by the National Institutes of Health and the American Heart Association to study the vascular determinants of cognitive impairment and decline. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Stroke Association.
